Tour Manager / CDL-A Driver

TideSmart Experiential seeks an experienced CDL-A Tour Manager to join a national mobile showroom tour. The primary goals of this tour are to feature product demonstration and to provide interactive elements and engagement opportunities to local clients and prospects.

This tour will involve travelling to established and prospect markets throughout the U.S and Canada. The TM will manage, transport, and be fully responsible for a branded truck and custom experiential asset. CDL-A license and valid passport required.

The tour manager for this mobile showroom tour must have extensive experience working with similar assets, be gregarious, hard-working and a sound leader. This is a a co-TM role, with both TMs sharing driving, set-up, breakdown, and reporting responsibilities. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, tech-savvy, and able to operate with a co-TM for extended periods of time.


This tour spans Mid-May 2022 - 11/7/2022, with a PAID break period between July 3-8 and Sept 2-9, 2022. Specific start date pending finalist candidate's availability. 

 Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Operation of the Mobile assets in accordance with all DOT and FMCSR codes; by use of JJ Keller E-log.
  • Act as on-site authority for all event activations, in conjunction with the co-TM.
  • Manage the event set-up and breakdown throughout the tour, with the help and support of the co-TM. This includes training and/or supervising the tour team and managing operations during activation.
  • Create a great guest experience for all event attendees
  • Consistent punctuality for all events, set up, conference calls, and appointments during the length of tour.
  • Fulfill communication obligations (as defined in tour manual and agreed upon at program training) for the length of the tour.
  • Ensure no intentional or negligent vehicle damage or lost vehicle articles.
  • Strict and prompt adherence to the risk management and incident reporting policies and protocols as defined in tour manual and agreed upon at training, including all COVID-19 related protocols.
  • Submission of expense reports and corresponding receipts per the schedule established by EMG3 and with a frequency of no less than every 14 days.
  • Tour-reporting materials completed and delivered within seven business days from the last executed Tour date. (Refer to Tour manual for specific reporting instructions.)
  • Use of personal smart phone for program related communications.
  • Successful transfer of all Tour materials and equipment within seven business days from the last executed Tour date, as requested by EMG3.



  • 2+ years experience in experiential/events marketing as a TM
  • Must be comfortable driving long distances in a relatively large vehicle.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check, MVR check, and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Availability for the entire duration of the contract term.
  • Valid Passport and able to travel/work in Canada for brief periods as part of the tour program.
  • Valid CDL-A license
