Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in the emergency room based on their condition and urgency of care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform diagnostic tests and collect patient data for evaluation and diagnosis.
• Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed.
• Document all patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during stressful situations.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards in the emergency room.
• Continuously update knowledge and skills to provide effective emergency care.

Requirements

• Candidates must have an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• 3+ years of clinical hospital experience in the ER Preferred with at least 1-2+ years of leadership experience in the ER.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions and use PC skills.
• Customer service-oriented with effective listening skills.
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting patients/equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Night Shift between 7pm - 11pm. Shifts range from 8 – 10 hours Monday-Friday.
