Crisis Response Team Clinician (LMHP or LMHP-R)

Our client is a longstanding behavioral health organization that has been serving Central Virginia for over 50 years. Based in Lynchburg, VA. Our Client focuses on patients first, offering a multitude of services for all ages, individuals and families.

The Position: We’re actively looking for an LMHP or LMHP-R to work with our Client’s community crisis response program. This role will operate in office and dispatch to emergencies in the community. Shifts include either a Sunday-Wednesday schedule or a Wednesday-Saturday schedule.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $42,124 to $72,584 (based on experience and licensure status).

Responsibilities:

• 37.5 hours per week
• Knowledge of community resources and referrals for follow-up care within organization (and external referrals when needed)
• Provide direct treatment to individuals experiencing an acute mental health crisis.

Requirements:

• Must have completed a 60-credit Master’s Degree (with 600 completed intern hours) in relevant Human Service field (Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Etc.)
• Licensure in the state of Virginia as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LSATP or LMHP-R.
• If LMHP-R, must be eligible to register as LMHP-E within three months of hire.
• One year of program specific work experience.
• Ability to participate in and successfully pass behavioral intervention training; includes both verbal de-escalation skills and physical skills techniques to be utilized when needed
• No Virginia Barrier Crimes on Record. See the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) for list of VA Barrier Crimes.
• Must have valid Drivers License
• Knowledge in DSM-V diagnoses
