CT Technologist needed in Kissimmee, Fl.

Kissimmee is a city in central Florida's Osceola County, just south of Orlando. It’s defined by its proximity to the region’s multitude of amusement parks, including the massive Walt Disney World Resort complex. The city lies along the northwest shore of Lake Tohopekaliga (nicknamed Lake Toho), and its verdant Kissimmee Waterfront Park encompasses walking paths, playgrounds and a fishing pier. 

This position is with a progressive, financially stable Hospital System.

Salary and Benefits

• Hourly rate: $31.00 - $44.00
• Sign on Bonus: $15,000 Paid on first Check
• Shift diff: 3p-11p is $2.50 or 11p-7a is $3.75
• Weekends: $1.25

Responsibilities:

• Perform computerized tomography scans under Radiologist's direction.
• Assist medical staff in detecting abnormalities.
• Fulfill duties as assigned Radiology Technologist.
• Provide care to sub-acutely ill patients across age groups.
• Demonstrate understanding of patients' developmental age.
• Align with HCA Florida Osceola Hospital's mission.
• Exhibit behavior consistent with core values.
• Support hospital's strategic plan and Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).

Requirements:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of the employment start date
• Weekends, Mixed Schedules, some nights are available too
• Registered Radiographers (ARRT) (R) and (CT) preferred
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Graduate of an approved School of Radiology
• One year of CT experience preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Additional Information:

• Must have experience – If the candidate has some experience in CT, the hospital may consider cross-training to get the ARRT registry

  The ARRT (CT) registry is not required, only ARRT (R) but CT Tech experience would be needed to be considered for a CT Tech position.
