This position is responsible, with the guidance of the CFO, to prepare operating budgets and oversee the accounting operations of a local bank. This includes the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk enhance the accuracy of the Bank's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. Proper financial reporting is also a key component to effective performance management which supports the overall Bank's strategic plan.
