The Treasury Solutions Sales Specialist is responsible for effectively selling the banks depository and treasury management services to existing and prospective clients. Independently responsible for achieving deposit and fee income goals and solidifying customer retention efforts by providing a superior level of relationship management and customer service. Implements and trains new business customers on the use of the treasury products; conducts treasury reviews of products and services for existing customers to identify cross sale opportunities. Creates proposals for prospective customers; and manages a book of depository only business accounts.
Provides a full range of sales, professional and technical support, along with treasury training to external customers and bank personnel to increase treasury referrals and fee income. Manages deposit portfolio; tracks sales records, monitors product usage and resolves problems when escalated for higher end customers.
Achieves key objectives through business development, networking, client retention, identifying cross sale opportunities, and manage branch referrals.
Develops and closes new sales to exceed treasury management sales goals, fee income generation, and deposit growth.
Ensures client satisfaction, and maintains ongoing knowledge of comprehensive treasury solutions, rules, and regulations.
Resolves external customer calls from business clients regarding treasury management services.
Performs sales and product implementation for the Commercial Treasury Solutions department.
Prepares and presents treasury management sales proposals and pricing pro-formas for prospective and existing clients to further develop and strengthen business relationships.
Conducts annual cash management reviews for business and commercial clients and engages business partners (i.e. commercial lending, branches, wealth management, etc.), as appropriate.
Travels to clients and prospects’ place of business for sales opportunities, equipment installations and on-site treasury management reviews.
Develops ongoing sales pipeline to ensure sales goals are achieved and appropriate product recommendations are implemented on schedule.
Oversees and executes customer agreements and pricing related to treasury management services.
Performs monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews and audits (fee, security, etc.) on current treasury solutions customers.
Ensures regulatory and legal requirements are met and performs appropriate disclosures and risk assessments for treasury solutions clients.
High school diploma or its equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in a related business field from an accredited college or university is preferred. Requires a minimum of three years of experience in cash/treasury management or five years of banking experience. Must have exceptional customer service skills, strong organizational and technical skills, and effective written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point required. The ability to work independently is also required.
