Job Description:
The Regional Account Manager is a high-impact, relationship-focused field sales leader tasked with building strong, mutually beneficial partnerships with premium cigar retailers. This role demands an individual who thrives on relationship management, strategic territory planning, and hands-on engagement in events, tastings, and training to drive visibility and volume.

Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Territory Growth
• Develop and execute an 8–12-week rotation cycle to visit and review all accounts within your territory.
• Assess accounts using qualitative and quantitative metrics (e.g., past performance, demand, growth potential, relationship quality).
• Grade and prioritize accounts in partnership with the VP of Retail Partnerships.
• Make recommendations for account closures or expansions based on performance and alignment with our vision.
Sales & Distribution Strategy
• Enforce SKU-based placement policies to ensure holistic brand representation.
• Support accounts in achieving benchmarks to access limited production lines such as the Andalusian Bull.
• Identify exceptions and work collaboratively to develop custom growth strategies.
Event & Activation Management
• Host and execute shop-specific tasting events to build demand for core lines.
• Plan and manage “Home of Ligero” events for top-tier accounts
• Coordinate dinners and entertainment for key accounts during national conventions (e.g., PCA).
Training & Education
• Deliver regular in-store training sessions to account staff on our lines, tobacco components, and brand storytelling.
• Use tools such as component kits to enrich product education and staff engagement.
Conduct & Brand Representation
• Represent us with professionalism, passion, and integrity at all times.
• Adhere to strict company policies regarding conduct, reporting, and brand representation—especially at national events.
• Maintain transparent, ongoing communication with leadership.
Required Experience & Skills:
• 3+ years in premium cigar sales, spirits, or luxury field marketing.
• Strong background in territory management, retail account relationships, and B2B sales.
• Event planning and execution experience, especially in the premium/luxury lifestyle space.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently with limited oversight.
