Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator

Seeking a Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator to focus on organizing and directing the configuration and operation of information management systems. You will provide day-to-day system administration to include system and resource optimization, and user assistance. You will also conduct capacity and performance analysis and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.

YOU WILL:

• Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
• Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
• Monitor and test web application site performance to ensure applications operate correctly and without interruption.
• Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
• Supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.
• Assist with the administration and implementation network security measures.
• Organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems.
• Provide day-to-day system administration to include system and resource optimization, and user assistance.
• Conduct capacity and performance analysis, and provide system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.
• Increase system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develop system administrator procedures, and conduct system administrator training and skills assessment.
• Determine computer user needs and analyze system capabilities and programming techniques and controls.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 10+ years or related work experience managing and providing end-user, desktop support, server, and local area network administration support.
• Bachelor’s degree or greater from an accredited college or university.
• CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP (IAT Level II Certification).
• Active TS/SCI + Polygraph.

PREFERRED/desired skills:

• Candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-team environment.
• Knowledge of automated tools and scripts to increases system administrator efficiency.
• Able to determine computer user needs and analyzes system capabilities and programming techniques and controls.
