FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

A seasoned Logistics Technician with over 5 years of experience is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain. This role involves coordinating the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring efficient and effective logistics operations.

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience/knowledge in the following areas:

• Supply Chain Coordination: Manage and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Inventory Management: Maintain and track inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing discrepancies.
• Logistics IT Systems: Utilize advanced logistics software to streamline procedures and improve operational efficiency.
• Vendor and Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with suppliers, retailers, and customers to secure profitable deals and ensure mutual satisfaction.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports for upper management on logistics performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve logistics-related issues, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to ensure goods meet required standards before dispatch.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in logistics or a related field, with proven expertise in supply chain management.
• Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in logistics software and IT systems.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of supply chain concepts, inventory management, and relevant regulations.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or related areas are preferred.
