Summary - Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, and the Senior Maintenance Supervisor the Foundry Maintenance Supervisor directs maintenance personnel in the foundry. Assumes the duties of Senior Maintenance Supervisor in his absence. EssentialDuties And Responsibilities Include The Following

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. - Reviews work orders and ensures that work schedules are met.
- Organizes and assigns work.
- Supervises skilled and semi-skilled employees performing major repairs and preventive maintenance to buildings and equipment and grounds.
- Anticipates maintenance and personnel problems and resolves problems to minimize their effects on production.
- Makes sure safety issues are addressed and solved.
- Responsible for spare parts inventory. Other duties may be assigned.
