Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in field service, enabling them to effectively troubleshoot and repair various equipment. This role requires proficiency in understanding schematics, computer hardware, equipment hardware, and low voltage systems, as well as the ability to maintain and repair equipment efficiently.

Responsibilities
Perform on-site installation and repairs for a variety of equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.

• Maintaining and repairing: Performing installs, maintenance, testing, and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems. Utilize tools such as voltmeters to diagnose electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Training: Training employees on how to use test equipment, operate systems, and maintain equipment
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and correcting malfunctions in systems that measure pressure, temperature, flow, vibration, etc. Read and interpret schematics to understand equipment layouts and troubleshooting procedures.
• Documenting: Recording instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal. Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Researching: Conducting research on computer products to support procurement and development
• Writing specifications: Writing technical specifications for purchasing hardware and related products
• Developing strategies: Helping to develop long-term strategies for meeting future hardware needs

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar field service role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to wire-up and troubleshoot or repair various types of banking equipment.
- Proven experience with equipment hardware components; ATMs, cash machines, vaults, tube systems, etc.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
- Experience using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.

Depending on your assigned territory, you will provide services, repairs and mechanical maintenance or installation for ATM's, retail point of sale (POS) or cash handling equipment, locksmithing, related cameras or other security hardware on customer premises. Electro-mechanical installation and repair.

Perform basic installation functions (e.g., set up and test equipment, pulling cables, mounting devices, installing locks) or performing technical fixes such as clearing paper jams, card jams, bill jams, etc.
