Job Description: Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to Standardized Work Instructions and assist teams with operational improvements.
• Develop and implement initial standard work practices.
• Conduct quality checks, inspections, and problem-solving for machine malfunctions and part quality issues.
• Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance on production equipment, ensuring readiness for production runs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including PLCs and robotics.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to execute maintenance tasks.
• Comply with OSHA safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE and equipment.
• Communicate equipment issues requiring attention during scheduled downtimes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Advanced technical training in mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, including assembly line or laser weld maintenance.
• Strong understanding of programmable controllers, robotics, and lean principles with practical application of lean tools.
• Dependable, able to work independently, and demonstrate consistent attendance.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support operational performance metrics and annual operating plans.
• Maintain and improve work areas, perform 5S audits, and propose Kaizen ideas.
• Take on additional duties as required to support operational needs.
