What You’ll Do
Oversee multiple guided auger boring, jack & bore, tunneling, and underground utility crews
Coordinate and manage all steering head-equipped auger boring operations for precise line and grade
Plan manpower, equipment, and daily work sequencing to meet schedules and budgets across active projects
Direct pipe jacking operations, auger boring machine setup, steel casing installation, welding, and tunneling activities
Ensure full compliance with confined space and shaft work regulations up to 50 feet deep
Maintain safe, efficient, and organized job sites across multiple locations
Serve as the primary field leader coordinating with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
Troubleshoot complex ground conditions, steering head performance, and equipment issues
Mentor and develop foremen and crews in advanced guided boring and auger boring practices
Travel regionally across Georgia and the Southeast as needed
What We’re Looking For
5+ years guided auger boring with steering head technology and jack & bore experience
2+ years in a superintendent, general superintendent, or high-level foreman role overseeing guided boring operations
Expert in steering head-equipped auger boring machines, pipe jacking, steel casing, and tunneling operations
Microtunneling experience a plus
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
Deep knowledge of trenchless construction methods, confined space safety, and OSHA regulations
Proven leadership, communication, and field-coordination skills
CDL preferred; OSHA 10/30 certification valued
***Note: Candidates with only traditional jack & bore experience without steering head or guided auger boring expertise will not be considered

$120,000–$140,000 DOE + performance bonuses
