Job Description
Overall Functions:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Repair and replace defective components in power distribution, lighting, control systems, and machinery.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential electrical failures and safety hazards.
- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and production staff to resolve complex electrical problems.
- Assist in the installation, modification, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance technicians as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and reliability of electrical systems.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of the facility.
Deliverables:
- Completion of scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on time.
- Accurate diagnosis and effective resolution of electrical issues.
- Timely repair and replacement of defective components.
- Detailed and accurate maintenance records.

- Training and development of junior maintenance technicians.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Completed technical or vocational training, and minimum A.A.S in Electrical Engineering. [CMRT, CMRP, CRE or CRL preferred.]
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Advanced knowledge of 480V 3 phase A/C to 24vdc Electrical systems, including distribution, switchboards, power factor, transformers, also knowledgeable in systems for PLC, DCS, HMI (panel view, factory talk, etc..., AB preferred), HVAC, Cooling Towers, Boilers, pneumatics, hydraulics, vacuum, and material handling equipment (example - forklifts, hoist, cranes, etc...).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to use various diagnostic tools and equipment.
-Robotic systems knowledge and understanding functions preferred.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), including mobile technology devices.
- Knowledge of lubrication systems and best practices to prevent contamination.
- Knowledge of CBM (Condition Base Monitoring) including vibration, ultrasonic, thermal imaging, oil analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to pass L3 Skills Assessment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and climbing ladders at heights.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, scissor lifts, aerial lifts, forklifts, and trade specific specialty tools.
