2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, mentor, and enhance the skills and abilities of team members.
  • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of job roles, procedures, and machinery operations on molding and assembly lines.
  • Deliver comprehensive on-the-job training, including work instructions, procedural guidelines, and safe equipment/machinery operation practices.
  • Promote and enforce safety regulations while fostering a safety-conscious work environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace to ensure safe operations.
  • Optimize manpower and facility use to control costs and minimize waste; identify and implement cost-saving improvements.
  • Foster positive relationships with production staff, office personnel, and peers to ensure seamless coordination and a harmonious working environment.
  • Uphold established quality standards, ensuring consistent adherence to quality guidelines.
  • Keep detailed and up-to-date training records for team members, using sign-off sheets to track proficiency in all relevant tasks.
  • Accurately manage timekeeping and daily production reports, ensuring timely and precise documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent professional experience, with a proven history in leadership roles.
  • 5–8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, alongside excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations and software applications.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • Availability to work 2nd shift.
