Job Title: Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to maintain and repair trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and small engine machinery, ensuring all equipment runs efficiently to support daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and overhauling on trucks, heavy machinery, and small engines.
• Diagnose and fix issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, axles, and other key components.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests on equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Order, install, and maintain parts to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Record repairs and maintenance performed, and maintain organized workspaces and tools.
• Assist in training employees on proper machine use and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot unexpected breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (Vocational/technical training preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in mechanic or heavy equipment repair.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (CDL may be required).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Schedule:

• Full-time, Mon-Fri with possible overtime.
