Production Superintendent

Role Summary: A leading company in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Production Superintendent to oversee operations in one of our advanced facilities. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth running of production processes, maintaining product quality, and managing raw materials across multiple lines within a 24-hour operation. The role demands leadership in maintaining our high standards of safety, productivity, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory standards.

• Supervise a large team to achieve production targets efficiently.

• Develop strategies to optimize material and labor use, reduce machine downtime, and control production costs.

• Enforce stringent product and workplace safety measures, aiming for zero incidents and compliance with legal regulations.

• Assume additional leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Plant Manager.

  Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.

• Experience with ERP systems; proficiency in MS Office.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Physically able to handle the demands of a manufacturing environment.

• Minimal travel required.
