We are currently recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) Director of Case Management to work in North Richland Hills, Texas in a 164-bed acute care hospital. The hospital has a level III trauma center, a primary stroke center, and they are an accredited chest pain center with a cardiac rehab program.
Job Responsibilities of the Director of Case Management RN:
Provides daily leadership for case management services, including social services and discharge planning.
Enhance the clinical and financial outcomes through performance improvement activities.
Assists the department in regulatory compliance.
Ensures patient/personal safety by maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment and adhering to the safety program and infection control programs.
Supports the hospital and department performance improvement goals.
Responsible for employee, patient, and physician satisfaction.
Collaborates with physicians and other support staff in designing and implementing processes to comply with regulatory requirements.
Job Qualifications of the Director of Case Management RN:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN required. MSN preferred.
Two plus years of recent case management experience in an acute care hospital.
Must have proven leadership skills.
Texas RN license or compact license.
Certification in Healthcare Quality or Hospital Case Management preferred.
Manages 5-6 FTE s.
Compensation and Benefits of the Director of Case Management RN:
Salary: $83k-$119k, depending on years of experience.
Relo up to $3k; and sign-on bonus up to $5k.
Yearly bonus potential up to 15% of annual salary, based on performance.
Matching 401(k) contributions ranging from 3-9%.
PTO starting at 4 weeks per year.
