Junior Engineer

TSJMGROUP - Wilmington, MA

The Role:

Candidate is responsible for engineer complex systems for Industrial Automation and Building Management Systems for the Data Center segment. Preparation of complex technical solutions to satisfy customer needs and develop turnkey products and services from design through manufacturing.Candidate will be technical resource during installation.The candidate will define equipment and installations per contractual technical clauses with cost, project timeframe and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering discipline or equivalent work experience is required
  • Knowledge of Data Center environment is a plus
  • 0-4+ years of experience with automation systems
  • Knowledge of manufacturing is a plus
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of Power Systems is a plus
  • Electrical schematic creation
  • P&ID creation is a plus
  • AutoCAD

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with design team to deliver quality design to customers
  • Interface with engineering team for large projects
  • Creation of accurate bills of materials
  • Creation of accurate flow/system diagrams
  • Integrating communications protocols
  • Travel to customer sites/installations on occasion
  • Create Engineering packages that are to customer specifications

Skills & Abilities:

  • Design control systems based on sales documents or customer meetings
  • Creation of control panel layouts and electrical schematics
  • Analysis of electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Ability to read MEP drawings
  • Selection of peripheral sensors/control devices
  • Analysis and creation of ladder logic diagrams
  • Creation of device/equipment schedules
  • Creation of installation/wiring details
  • Must be capable sitting for long periods of time
