Location: 4 days a week on-site in Arlington, VA

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of high-quality, scalable web applications, promoting best practices across the team.
• Solve complex technical challenges creatively, delivering timely solutions to meet business goals.
• Act as the go-to expert in web application architecture while understanding the broader system components.
• Influence the direction of system diagnostics, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and stability.
• Identify key issues affecting the team and adopt innovative solutions to streamline development processes.
• Guide feature design and the implementation of new capabilities across the entire web application ecosystem.
• Collaborate with teams to design and develop scalable, high-availability, high-performance web applications.
• Participate in special projects and contribute to the overall technical strategy.

You Need to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of web application development experience, including designing and architecting commercial applications using modern engineering practices.
• Strong experience running large project deliverables, both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to simplify complex problems, driving solutions that maximize efficiency and reduce complexity.
• A track record of influencing the full software development life cycle with expertise in Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps practices.
• Expertise in technologies like React, Node.js, C#, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud technologies (AWS).
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership of large-scale web application projects.
