The Opportunity:

You'll lead a team, work with vendors, and help optimize how the organization supports both corporate and educational environments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, design, and implement systems engineering initiatives to improve operational efficiency and support business growth.
  • Take charge of account creation automation for Google, Windows, and Azure environments, transforming how manual tasks are handled.
  • Manage and implement solutions for Microsoft environments including Intune, MFA, Azure AD, and help the organization stay ahead of the latest platform updates.
  • Drive automation efforts in large environments, with a particular focus on software patching and operational support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring that deliverables meet business needs and are aligned with strategic goals.
  • Oversee and guide the management of external vendor partnerships, ensuring that third-party providers are held accountable for performance and results.
  • Work closely with leadership to establish SLAs, and ensure critical business processes are met within the required timelines.
  • Analyze and optimize existing systems and processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring scalability as the company grows.
  • Implement tools, standards, and operational procedures for logging, alerting, and ongoing system monitoring.
  • Stay ahead of technological advancements and provide visionary guidance on future updates to Microsoft and Google platforms.
  • Cultivate a team-oriented environment and provide mentorship to your direct reports, helping them to grow and excel.

What You Need to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong systems administration background with expertise in cloud platforms (O365, Azure, Google Workspace).
  • Experience leading teams and managing external vendor relationships.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft products/platforms (Intune, MFA, Azure AD, etc.) and ideally Google Workspace.
  • Visionary, forward-thinking mindset with the ability to anticipate the next steps in evolving tech ecosystems.
  • A passion for automating processes, reducing manual work, and driving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior leadership and business partners.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, lead a team, and influence change at a strategic level.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with Google Chromebooks for education environments.
  • Experience with large-scale migrations and implementations of Microsoft products.
  • A track record of driving change management in a growing organization.
