Senior Analyst, Loan Data Administration (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Washington, D.C.
Position Overview
A leading global investment firm is seeking a Senior Analyst of Loan Data Administration to join its Global Credit Fund Management Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, complex, and growth-oriented environment supporting one of the DC region's largest and most sophisticated private credit platforms.
The Senior Analyst will play a critical role in managing and maintaining loan and debt reference data, ensuring the integrity of information across systems, and supporting investment professionals and fund management teams.
This position is being offered on a contract-to-hire basis, with the potential to convert to a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage issuer and asset-level loan reference data setup and maintenance across internal systems.
- Review and interpret credit agreements, amendments, offering memorandums, and related loan documentation to ensure accurate data capture.
- Support ongoing portfolio operations by maintaining and reconciling loan and debt data across multiple systems.
- Partner with operations, fund management, technology, and investment professionals to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Contribute to data governance initiatives, process improvements, and operational enhancements.
- Participate in system integration efforts, reconciliations, and process automation projects.
- Assist in strategic projects tied to the growth and complexity of the global credit platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, fund administration, credit risk, or credit underwriting.
- Strong understanding of loan and debt governing documents, including credit agreements, amendments, and offering memorandums.
- Solid knowledge of debt instruments, portfolio operations, and fund management processes.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to work with complex datasets.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
