Our client, a publicly traded and innovation-driven life sciences company, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its corporate finance team. This is a rare opportunity to work in a highly analytical role with direct exposure to executive leadership, including the CFO.
Location: Washington, DC (5 days/week onsite)
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders only
Key Responsibilities
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for multiple SG&A cost centers (e.g., Legal, Finance, Sales).
Present monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting results directly to senior executives.
Oversee month-end close activities for corporate functions.
Assist with SEC reporting and SOX compliance efforts.
Support procurement and contract negotiations.
Partner with stakeholders across the business to drive planning and performance insights.
Ideal Profile
CPA required, with Big 4 public accounting experience, including at least one year at the senior associate level.
3+ years of total experience in audit and/or corporate finance.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX 404.
Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics or similar) is a plus.
Industry experience in life sciences or pharmaceuticals is a plus.
