Our client, a large private equity firm, is looking to add an Corporate Staff Accountant to their growing accounting department. This opportunity sits in the client's D.C. office on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote). This is a permanent, full time opportunity. Successful incumbent will have a Bachelors Degree from an accredited four-year university and 1-3 years of accounting experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
• Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
• Journal entries and General Ledger exposure
• Month-end close assistance

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• 2+ years of accounting experience or an internship held in accounting
