Mechanical Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pre-construction engineering and design efforts.
  • Assist project managers overseeing awarded construction projects.
  • Coordinate Government acquisition efforts for A/E services and Construction projects.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise in managing studies and designs for real property facilities, including MEP utility systems.
  • Offer engineering support and analysis for awarded study and design contracts.
  • Conduct site evaluations, field surveys, and code compliance assessments.
  • Support the Government in developing technical requirements, cost estimates, and schedules for A/E services.
  • Conduct design technical reviews from concept to 100% design drawings and manage the submittal review process.
  • Lead and participate in regular project progress meetings and program progress meetings.
  • Track and manage data submissions from various stakeholders.
  • Maintain construction administration data for senior leadership review.
  • Prepare and present project status briefings and technical reports.

Requirements:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of experience
  • OR 15+ years of experience in the design/construction or operations of specific equipment with a Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
