Overview:
Seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Health Law Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of civil litigation experience, with a strong preference for those with medical malpractice defense backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings and motions for various stages of litigation.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery requests.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties and expert witnesses.
• Appear in court to argue motions and represent clients.
• Prepare for and attend multi-party, complex civil trials.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the District of Columbia Bar or eligibility for waiver.
• Admission to the Virginia Bar.
• 3–5 years of civil litigation experience; medical malpractice defense experience is strongly preferred.
