This Turn2 client is a fast-growing digital learning company and we have partnered with them on a search for a Software Engineering Lead to help architect and scale the next generation of their learning platform.
This role blends technical leadership and people management. You’ll drive architectural direction, mentor engineers, and partner closely with Product, QA, and executive stakeholders. What You’ll Do:
Set technical vision, define architectural direction, and uphold engineering best practices.
Lead the development of scalable, reliable software across backend and frontend systems.
Mentor and coach engineers; foster career growth and strong team dynamics.
Translate product requirements into technical plans in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
Drive adoption of cloud services (AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.) and AI-powered capabilities.
Oversee code quality, testing, observability, and CI/CD implementation.
Collaborate with near-shore consultants to ensure technical alignment and code standards.
What You Bring:
8–10+ years in software development with 2–4 years in technical leadership or people management.
Proven full-stack experience with TypeScript/Node.js and React.
Strong cloud architecture experience, particularly with AWS serverless technologies.
Deep knowledge of API design, service communication, authentication, and event-driven systems.
Excellent communication skills and a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
Bonus: Experience building or scaling teams, AI/ML integration, GraphQL, gRPC, or leading modern platform migrations.
