This Turn2 client is a rapidly growing national security-focused technology company, and we have partnered with them on a search for an IT Manager to oversee its internal infrastructure, network security, and compliance operations. This role combines hands-on system and network management with leadership across cybersecurity standards—ensuring uptime, user support, and full adherence to federal security frameworks.
You’ll play a key role in protecting sensitive data, maintaining a high-performance IT environment, and guiding the organization through compliance with evolving standards like CMMC and NIST 800-171.

What You’ll Do:
Manage all internal IT systems and infrastructure—networks, devices, software, and employee support.
Oversee endpoint management, system configurations, internet/network reliability, and vendor coordination.
Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, hardware procurement, and employee onboarding.
Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, manage patches and updates, and respond to security incidents.
Train staff on security protocols and support ongoing cybersecurity education.
Drive compliance with CMMC and NIST 800-171 frameworks, including documentation and audit prep.
Manage the configuration and provisioning of laptops, software, and access cards.
Automate OS and security upgrades to ensure full compliance across all endpoints.
Serve as the primary IT point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring tech alignment with organizational needs.
What You Bring:
U.S. Citizenship (required).
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
5+ years in IT operations or systems administration, including leadership responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and endpoint management tools.
Hands-on experience managing internal IT systems and responding to security incidents.
Deep understanding of cybersecurity standards, especially CMMC and NIST 800-171.
Certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISM, or CCNA.
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills—especially with non-technical audiences.
Experience with Apple hardware and macOS support.
