Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage engineering studies and designs for new construction and renovations, focusing on MEP utility systems.
• Lead assessments and investigations into electrical failures and inefficiencies.
• Develop detailed reports with recommendations for improvements.
• Provide expertise on power generation, distribution, and safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Bachelor's degree - 15+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Master's degree - 5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• 20 years of experience in power system design/construction or operation.
• Experience in managing large-scale projects over 250,000 square feet.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Washington, DC: Reliably commute (Required)
