Marketing Operations Manager

As a marketing operations manager, you will work to create scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation and database management. You will also conduct complex data analyses that will be used to inform strategic decisions by stakeholders from across the company. You will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads. As needed, troubleshoot errors and resolve
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management, including data imports, deduplication, appending and lifecycle management
  • Own the functional management of our corporate website and drive site optimization in line with campaign execution goals
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact
  • Assist the CMO with annual plan creation and monthly/quarterly execution tracking
  • Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization
  • Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database and drive processes for improving accuracy and usability
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance
  • Develop processes for database management and lead nurture to ensure opt-in compliance and accurate list building, as well as database segmentation by persona, industry, lifecycle phase, etc. to support marketing programs and analysis
  • Work closely with content and product marketing team members to create lead nurturing strategies that drive demand. Set up and administer persona-based automated emails and nurture tracks that deliver the right messaging at the right time

Accountabilities:

  • Reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer
  • Key interfaces include: product marketing, demand generation, product management, public relations, graphic design, as well as the CEO and other executives.
  • Is a key member of the marketing team.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience
  • Strong analytical skills (including mastery of Microsoft Excel) and experience with reporting and data analysis
  • Proficiency at all levels (implementation and strategy) in marketing automation systems (like HubSpot and Marketo) and integrating those systems with other technologies such as Salesforce
  • Ability to roll up your sleeves and execute while also being able to lead teams to successful goal completion
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize a corporate website in line with corporate marketing and campaign goals
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes
  • Ability to write and edit marketing copy is a huge plus
