We are currently working with a growing DC-based organization in need of a Corporate Accounting Manager. This role will help manage a team of five that are responsible for all the day to day accounting operations of a $100M+ organization. This role will directly report to the Corporate Controller and will help support financial statement preparation, internal financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compiling variance analysis on an ad-hoc basis.

Role: Corporate Accounting Manager

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the corporate accounting team
• Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processes
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting including monthly close, general ledger, monthly reporting, and etc.
• Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies and procedures on an as needed basis
• Collaborate with FP&A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics and actual spend against budgets/outlook
