Compensation Manager
Our client is looking for a Compensation Manager to lead and oversee the design, execution, and management of a comprehensive compensation program. This role ensures fair and competitive pay practices, maintains job structures, evaluates market data, and supports the development and administration of incentive plans. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in compensation strategy, analysis, and process improvement, along with strong project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day compensation operations, including plan administration, job evaluation, and market analysis.
- Oversee all compensation processes using HR systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Provide data-driven insights and reporting to support compensation decision-making.
- Collaborate with HRIS teams as a key resource on compensation system functionalities.
- Drive process enhancements by introducing tools and strategies to streamline and automate compensation programs.
- Partner with internal teams to deliver solutions that support business goals and talent strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in compensation or HR roles with a focus on compensation programs.
- Comprehensive understanding of compensation practices, including job evaluation, market benchmarking, pay structure design, and merit processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with compensation systems, such as Workday or similar platforms.
- Professional certification in compensation (e.g., CCP) is preferred.
- Prior experience designing and managing incentive plans for sales or other functions is highly desirable.
