Turn2Parters is working with a premier National Professional Services firm in need of a strong Accounting professional with a CPA for a Senior Manager of Accounting role. This role will managed a team responsible for all Accounts Payable, Expense Reimbursement, Vendor Management, Cash, Trust Transactions, Cash Forecasting/Budgeting, and internal financial reporting. They are ideally looking for a leader to help implement new controls, process, and support ongoing automation efforts in addition to the day to accounting operations.

 

Ideal Experience:

  • CPA is Required
  • 8+ years of Corporate Accounting experience is preferred
  • 2+ years of Supervisory experience
  • Proven experience leading process improvement or automation projects
  • Previous Professional Services Industry experience
  • Strong Communications skills

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage the full life cycle of AP processing including vendor management, vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, client disbursements, credit card transactions, expense approval matrices, vendor uploads, payment processing, and posting transactions to the general ledger.
  • Supervise and perform trust activity, ensuring transactions adhere to compliance requirements, are properly recorded in the GL.
  • Manage firm bank accounts, monitor daily bank activity, and lead other treasury initiatives.
  • Act as firm point of contact with bank representatives.
  • Monitor global cash activity and project short and long-term cash needs. Prepare daily cash reporting and periodic cash forecasts.
  • Lead month-end close activities including account reconciliations for AP, cash, and trust processes.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, leveraging automation and technology to enhance team productivity, improve accuracy and reduce manual processes.
  • Establish and track KPIs to drive team performance and ensure compliance with departmental and firm goals.
