Overview:
A top-tier national firm is seeking a mid-to-senior level associate (5–7 years of experience) to join its Labor & Employment team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will bring robust litigation experience and a passion for creative client partnership, particularly across wage & hour, single-plaintiff, and class action matters.
Ideal Candidate:
5–7 years of employment litigation experience at a major law firm
CA bar admission required
Excellent writing, deposition, and oral advocacy skills
Experience in:
Class action defense & wage/hour disputes
Drafting motions to compel arbitration and discovery
Settlement agreements and employment documentation (e.g., PIIAs, offer letters)
Client counseling on compliance and HR practices
M&A labor diligence experience is a strong plus
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in single-plaintiff and class/collective actions
Handle court appearances, depositions, and briefings
Support corporate transactions through labor/employment due diligence
Draft and negotiate employment-related agreements and documentation
Counsel clients on compliance and risk mitigation
