A purpose-driven non-profit is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations and lead a small team. This role requires strong technical skills, proven leadership ability, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:Manage and mentor a team of direct reports, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily accounting functions.
Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to support business operations and initiatives.
Utilize ADP or Workday systems for payroll, reporting, and accounting-related tasks.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
Contribute to process improvements and drive efficiencies within the accounting function.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree preferred.
1–2 years of managerial experience with direct reports.
Hands-on experience with ADP or Workday is required.
Real estate industry accounting experience strongly preferred.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
