Senior Accountant – Logistics & Distribution (100% Remote – East Coast)
A rapidly growing, privately held logistics company with over $2 billion in revenue is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This 100% remote role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing and stable finance department that supports one of the largest last-mile delivery operations in the country.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage key components of the monthly and quarterly close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries
Maintain and reconcile general ledger and fixed asset schedules
Perform balance sheet reconciliations with appropriate documentation
Analyze monthly financial statements, identifying and explaining variances to budget or historical trends
Support lease accounting, intercompany eliminations, and consolidation processes
Assist with both internal and external audits by preparing schedules and addressing inquiries
Collaborate with FP&A and business partners to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting
Participate in ongoing process improvements and help enforce financial controls
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public and corporate experience
Strong GAAP knowledge and technical accounting foundation
Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems strongly preferred
Exposure to lease accounting and fixed assets is a plus
CPA or CPA-track preferred
High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
