**Pay Range**: $200K - $250K Base + Bonus

 

Our client is a leader in the building products distribution industry with a strong market presence across multiple regions. They are known for their innovative approach and commitment to customer satisfaction. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Vice President of Sales to join their team and drive growth within a designated geographic region.

**Position Summary**

The Regional Vice President of Sales will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding market share within their region. This role is responsible for leading and motivating a team of business development managers and outside sales representatives to achieve sales targets. The RVP will work closely with segment VPs to develop and implement strategic plans that align with overall business objectives.

 

**Key Responsibilities**

- **Leadership and Team Management**: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of 7-9 business development managers, each managing a pod of showrooms and outside sales reps.

- **Strategic Planning and Execution**: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

- **Customer Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.

- **Sales Performance and Reporting**: Analyze sales data and metrics to track performance and make data-driven decisions.

- **Compliance and Risk Management**: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

 

**Skills/Requirements**

- 10+ years of Sales Management Experience in building products distribution or a related industry.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data and metrics.

- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with experience managing large teams.

- Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities.

- Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed.
