Title: Territory Sales Manager, Commercial / A&D 
Location: San Diego, CA (remote/home office - must live in the territory) 
Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 Base Salary + Guaranteed Commissions for 12 - 18 

Our client has a 30+year history in the distribution of building materials for both commercial and residential applications. They have had consistent growth over the last 10 years and are looking to hire someone to focus on developing relationships with Architect and Design firms in San Diego.

Position Summary

• Focusing on key Architecture and Design firms, develop and execute on a territory plan for the San Diego market. 
• Grow existing relationships with commercial A&D firms to drive specifications on commercial projects.
• Strategize with the Regional Sales Managers, regional peers and leadership to continue optimizing the channel and local strategy
• Work with contractor reps to ensure A&D specifications are maintained through the bid process. 
• Participate with Product Development and Marketing teams communicating design trends, market feedback, competitive analysis, product feedback, etc, contributing to the development of future product offerings.

Skills/Requirements

• 3+ years' experience establishing and growing relationships with A&D firms. 
• Successfully demonstrated the ability to establish net new relationships with A&D firms. 
• Ability to drive longer sales cycles, juggle multiple projects at the same time while maintaining consistent outreach to new prospects. 
• College Degree preferred
