Full Stack Developer

Full Time

Hybrid Model: On-site in St. Louis 2-3 days a week

Summary

A material handling solutions provider is currently looking to fill an exciting position for an experienced Full Stack Developer. This job will collaborate with various customer facing teams to develop customer facing web applications (front end and back end). These applications will range from fleet expense reporting, how we are performing according to KPI’s and benchmarks, pay integrations with leading purchasing management systems such as Coupa, real time service order updates, quote submittal and approval, to quarterly business review automation. You will be responsible for the architectural layout of the application, analysis of the business teams requirements and advising them accordingly. Together with your project team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the new technology and applications.

Essential Functions

Ø Development of high-quality applications in small teams

Ø Deduce and document use cases from customer requirements

Ø Visual Modeling: Setup Database Structures and relationships, Develop application workflows, Create application logic, Create integration interfaces via Web Services, Create Graphical User Interface Layouts

Ø Extend application logic and integration interfaces with pertinent tools

Ø Understanding of development effort and estimations; communicate progress to team manager

Ø Deliberate decision making and architectural ownership with respect to design and development of functionality within the context of the deliverable application

Ø Documentation of either or, user manuals, (non-)functional application requirements, business processes, work flows, project plans and planning, systems architecture, etc.

Ø Create and maintain ETL pipelines from various internal and external data sources to our data warehouse using SQL, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Access

Ø Create data warehouse(s) in SQL environments

Ø Audit raw data and ETL jobs to run data quality and validation tests; ensure high standards of data hygiene

Ø Meet with business stakeholders to understand needs and enhancements

Ø Build and sustain data acquisition roadmap for pertinent data sources

Ø Manage relationships with third-party data providers

Ø Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Ø Responsible to be key player in developing and implementing a data strategy and data quality processes for company KPIs and analytics

Ø Expert knowledge in Data Architecture, Modeling, integration, governance and BI/Analytics principles

Ø Experience developing BI applications, delivering BI infrastructure and building best practices

Ø Actively researches and develops new knowledge and collaborates on solutions

Ø Confident in managing and executing projects cross-functionally with various stakeholders from start to finish

Skills / Attributes Required

Ø Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role

Ø Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, XML, jQuery and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, [website])

Ø Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python)

Ø Experience developing desktop and mobile applications

Ø Familiarity with common stacks

Ø Expert in databases MySQL, web servers, and design

 

Ø Excellent visualization skills and experience deploying graphic design to spec

Ø Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ø Great attention to detail

Ø Organizational skills

Ø An analytical mind

Ø Flexible → ability to change direction when needed or required

 

Profile

Ø 8+ years of work experience in similar role with delivery

Ø Experience in customer-facing environments, with daily customer interaction

Ø Familiar with Agile practices.

Ø Experience with both business and IT units

Ø Eager to learn new technologies.
