HNW Tax Associates (2-3)

CPA Firm—North Dallas, TX – Salary commensurate with experience plus 2 discretionary bonuses per year

 

The Sizzle

• Role is in the office 2 days per week
• Ideal candidate has 1-3 years of public accounting experience, 1040 experience, individual/partnership/S corp experience
• Quickbooks experience preferred
• Growth plan for promotion, 80 person firm, teams of 10 people, not specialized, great culture
• Great benefits, 401K with 25% match, 54 hours per week during busy season, no weekends, 36 hours per week during the summer with no Fridays, 3 weeks PTO, 12 holidays, additional days off after busy season

 

Minimum Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• CPA Eligible
• 1-3 years of experience at a public accounting firm in tax related position
• Experience preparing returns for individuals, partnerships and S corporations preferred
• 1040 experience preferred
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• Strong organizational, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with clients and coworkers

 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Exhibit a high level of attention to detail throughout the tax preparation process
• Exhibit an ability to communicate effectively with staff and supervisors (both verbal and written)
• Organize and prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships and S corporations
• Understands complex tax issues and the application to client situations and transactions
• Prepare and deliver a high quality work product
• Provide support for and participate in tax planning and tax research for complex tax issues
