Senior Internal Auditor (2) and Senior IT Auditor

Large Construction Company — DFW — up to $95K+, up to 110K, plus discretionary bonus after 1st year

• Up to 20% travel to various locations in the US, minimal travel for IT audit role
• CPA or CIA highly preferred or at least working towards
• After the first year, eligible for a bonus that can be paid out biannually
• Not a formal IA rotational program BUT you will have the opportunity to move to other areas within the company

Minimum Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CIA is strongly preferred or actively working towards certification
• 2-5 years of relevant audit experience is preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of risks and internal controls
• Determine the adequacy of operational and key financial reporting controls

 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performing audit engagements that will include work delegation and reviewing workpaper documentation
• Identifying control weaknesses and opportunities for improvement
• Developing corrective action recommendations which enhance efficiencies
• Developing effective test plans
• Creating business partnerships within the organization
• Documenting work papers according to standard audit and department standards
• Collaborating with Internal Audit Department management
• Interacting with the company’s external audit firm
