Cash Accountant

Private Manufacturing Company – Burlington, MA– $60-70K, no bonus

The Sizzle:

• Role is hybrid – in the office 3x per week
• Targeting 3-5 years of experience, no knockout industries, will teach cash piece
• Must have strong excel skills
• Reports to CFO
• 2 weeks PTO, 10 holidays, good benefits

 

Minimum Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Three plus years of experience in accounting is required
• Highly skilled in dealing with high volume financial data sets
• Highly skilled in the use of complex Excel Spreadsheets
• Skilled in use of Microsoft Word and Office
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate verbally and in writing
• Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
• Large ERP and consolidation software experience is required
• Familiarity with Timberline Accounting software, a plus

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage the daily cash activities – bank reconciliations and forecasts
• Work closely with the divisions to manage net operating cash
• Manage accounts payable process - vendor terms and negotiations, issuing checks, working with the banks as needed
• Currency management for customer receipts and vendor payments
• Establish a rolling 13-week forecast process
• Support cash related month-end close functions
• Reconciliation of bank statements
• Assist in preparation of schedules for year-end audit
• Process monthly Sales and Use reporting
• Manage Concur Accounts Payable process flow for the company
• Ad Hoc Projects as needed
