Senior Manager FP&A

$100M Healthcare Company – North of DFW (40 miles) – Up to $140K plus 15-20% bonus

The Sizzle:

• Role is hybrid – in office 3 days per week (Tuesday – Thursday)
• Individual Contributor role (no direct reports)
• Reports directly to the VP of Accounting/Finance; on a team of 3
• Targeting 5 – 7+ years of experience
• Healthcare experience preferred (not required)

Responsibilities:

• Works closely with leadership team to formulate the business’s long term financial and strategic plan
• Analyzes financial and operational results to better understand company performance
• Communicates to senior leadership the reasons behind department performance and results
• Provides detailed commentary on cost center results
• Reviews operations and recommends new productivity on cost saving initiatives
• Reviews existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts.
• Evaluating previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets.
• Communicating results and recommendations to senior leadership for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations.
• Provides insights to senior leadership around financial modeling forecasts, and profitability
• Leads the monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting process.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Equivalent.
• Strong quantitative abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills
• High level of commercial acumen
• Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships
• Advanced computer skills, including Excel and other accounting software’s
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Demonstrated experience in management financial reporting and variance analysis
• CPA or CFA, preferred
