Search for a Technical Manager (Chemist or Chemical Engineer with prior management experience) to backfill retiring Manager for a fortune 500 diversified industrial near Georgetown, MA. This role will be 50/50 R&D/production, leading a technical team focused on Printing, hot stamping, embossing, cold foiling, laminating and holographic production/process development involving dried coatings ranging from 0.1 to 1.5 gsm. You will be a hands-on leader with coaching and mentoring perspective open to rolling up the sleeves and helping when required, as well as a creative, analytical problem solver with a hands on, entrepreneurial spirit. Prior/recent experience with polymer chemistry, analytical, familiar with statistical analysis and chemical processes. Min BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and 3+ yrs management exp in a production/R&D environment req’d.
