Sr. HR Manager, Integration and Support

Our client is a growing third-party logistics (3PL) company with decades of experience in Warehousing, Distribution, Consolidation and Transportation. They are looking for talented professionals who can help them stand at the forefront of the logistics industry today.

Job Summary:

Manages, executes and maintains HR programs, processes and activities, such as benefits, HRIS, Workers’ Compensation, LOA Administration, and special projects that directly support the HR field organization, employee population and operations functions. Actively works with internal and external parties and functions to identify systems and procedure issues, changes, upgrades or replacements. Coordinates integration and consolidation activities of select HR policies, programs processes and activities with various HQ organizations, as necessary to support the business. Works with other HR functions on the implementation or execution of new HR systems, programs and processes. Provides leadership on special HR projects and initiatives.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates activities with HR functions, employees, department managers of company policies and programs regarding benefits, rewards, WC, HR systems, etc.
  • Manages all aspect of HR Information System except Payroll. Coordinates all modifications, reporting, etc. Responsible for coordinating with HQ on changes to or replacement of core HRIS system and resulting training and orientation of employees and managers on usage.
  • Data Analytics/Workforce Planning - Develops solutions and solves business challenges by collecting and analyzing data, and recommending courses of action in partnership with HR and Operations leadership.
  • Coordinates configuration of new systems with HR functional heads.
  • Manages Performance Team Workers’ Compensation, LOA Administration, Return To Work, and accommodation processes in conjunction with HW processes, vendors and capabilities. Identifies transition of activities and coordination of remaining activities within the Warehousing and Distribution (WND) HR.
  • Actively participates in HR initiatives to represent WND in enterprise-wide solutions that are rolled out. Completes projects by clarifying objectives, setting clear timetables and schedules, conducting research, developing and organizing information, analyzing results, and preparing final findings and recommendations.
  • Assists VP and Director of HR in execution and implementation of new programs, processes and policies within WND.
  • Manages coordination and transition of various benefits programs to HQ, manages any remaining WND programs.
  • Works with various HR functions on execution of annual activities, i.e. Open Enrollment, Merit, Performance Reviews, Engagement Survey, etc.
  • Position is full-time and on-site.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises exempt and nonexempt employees in various Human Resources functions. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred, in Human Resources or general Business; HR Certification (PHR/SPHR) highly desired.
  • 8+ years’ experience in HR with a minimum of 4 years in HR management.
  • Experience in Employee Relations or Labor relations is desired but not required.
  • Previous experience with HR Integration Projects preferred.
  • Strong Project Management skills and experience
  • Strong computer literacy required, including all MS Office products and understanding of HRIS processes.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • Must be flexible to travel as workload requires.
