Payroll Administrator


  • Initiate a file for all new hires in PAYCOM HR and payroll
  • Prepare and submit annual vets 100A report
  • Assist in preparing OSHA 300A report
  • Process a biweekly payroll using PAYCOM
  • Prepare spreadsheet for Salaried batch
  • Review every timecard for accuracy and make corrections as necessary
  • Transmit payroll
  • Payroll taxes
  • Maintain all payroll files


  • Transmit Voya 401k contributions and prepare FSA wire
  • Maintain bonus spreadsheet
  • Maintain vacation and PPT accruals and make adjustments in PAYCOM as necessary
  • Prepare all data for 401K Non-Discrimination testing


  • Collaborate with HR Team to have a smooth annual open enrollment
  • Ensure the accuracy of the monthly insurance invoices and prepare check request for payment
  • Maintain insurance rates spreadsheet to insure correct employee coverage and charges
  • Monitor Voya Non – Discrimination Tests including midyear and close to year end to insure a pass result in all areas.
  • Maintain Medical Check-up Forms and make changes in payroll
  • Maintain Birthday/Anniversary information and disseminate reports appropriately

Other duties may be assigned: 

  • Distribute paychecks in the absence of the HR Manager
  • Gain the trust of employees to discuss issues and ensure appropriate action is taken
  • Assist with administering merit increases in both the payroll and HR side
  • Attend HR and payroll seminars and report pertinent information
  • Assist in the planning and execution of HR sponsored events
  • Assist the HR Manager with recruitment and onboarding as needed
  • Assist in the administering HR Policies
  • Maintain and update all HR files
  • Gather data for annual Affirmative Action report
  • Other tasks and projects assigned by the position’s supervisor or company management from time to time


  • High school diploma; Associates degree is preferred
  • 5+ years work experience in payroll processing from A to Z including payroll reports, garnishments and analysis. 
  • Experience with PAYCOM helpful but not a must (other payroll softwares ADP Workforce, UltiPro with implementation exp preferred)
  • Strong Excel Skills: pivot table, vlookup, formulas, etc.
  • Strong capabilities in Windows Office Suite of programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
