Our client is a large Food Retail Chain with locations throughout California, Nevada, Texas, Washington State, and New Jersey. They are growing and seeking an experienced and dynamic Bilingual Chinese Director of eCommerce to their leadership team.

Job Description

The Director of E-commerce will oversee the company’s digital business development and performance, including direct online sales and digital solutions to enhance the whole customer experience. He/ She will analyze, review, recommend and build strategic and tactical changes to drive profitability by increasing customer base, improve conversion rate, improve order size and manage margin performance. The Director of E-commerce will report directly to the CEO and will be a critical member on the management team.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing E-commerce operations from beginning to end, including but not limited to: product offering, inventory management, operations efficiencies/ cost reduction, order fulfillment, marketing, customer service, and overall user experience
  • Digital marketing, social media campaigns, written and graphical content, project budgeting
  • Reviewing and evaluating different platform options; Managing system implementation project
  • Developing metrics/ KPIs to track and evaluate business performance
  • Recruit and develop a strong E-commerce team
  • Ability to work effectively with different levels of people in the organization to achieve business objectives

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Information Technology or similar field from a top-tier 4 year university
  • 5+ year experience of managing online, media, E commerce business, and/or the production of digital channels including app, web and mobile
  • Bilingual in English & Chinese Mandarin is a must
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Progressive track record of success in career
  • Project management experience highly preferred
  • Experience in managing and motivating team for best performance
  • Expert-level knowledge of major e-commerce platforms and tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service
  • Willing to learn, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and confident.
  • Willing to accommodate flexible work schedules.
