Associate Veterinarian

We are seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our growing veterinary team. From our founding we continue to serve our community through our team-centric, client/patient-focused general practice which focuses on providing compassionate patient care utilizing exceptional medical standards.

Our practice culture emphasizes teamwork and collaboration. We have a skilled support team of licensed and non-licensed veterinary technicians along with a friendly and welcoming customer service team that partner with our doctors to provide the excellent patient and client care we are known for. We have a dedicated and loyal client base that continues to grow.

Our hospital is open and spacious. Recent equipment upgrades include an Olympic dental table and integrated dental station; TigerView dental radiology and digital radiology platforms. The practice also has a complete Idexx laboratory suite; ultrasound; and a large fully equipped surgery suite including a ligasure vessel sealing system. We are set up to offer you a robust clinical practice experience.

Grass Valley is situated at 2,500 feet in the beautiful western foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, located between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. We will offer you a $15,000 signing bonus as an additional incentive.

Job Requirements:

  1. You must value the importance of providing essential preventative care while building a strong and lasting bond with our clients.
  2. At least 1 to 2 years of clinical practice experience is required.
  3. Some experience in soft-tissue surgery and dentistry is preferred.
    1. A California Veterinary License or the ability to obtain one if not currently licensed in the state.
