The Power Electronics Engineer will be responsible for the design of electronic assemblies for aerospace and military applications such as engine controls, motor controls, power converters, sensors, and actuators. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required with 3-5 years of experience electronic devices. Experience with power electronics in the 2kW to 20kW power range is required, specifically switching power supplies and motor drivers. Experience with Altium Designer (or equivalent software) for creation of electrical schematics and circuit analysis is required. Knowledge of EMI/EMC design considerations and design for high reliability / harsh environment applications is required. The candidate must be able to work independently and be able to manage multiple projects.
