The Technical Advisor provides guidance and executes technical troubleshooting related to our products.Product safety, significant financial decisions, and customer satisfaction are the direct responsibility of this position.Technical Advisors are the front-line interface for our global clients, supporting all of their technical and business-related needs.Key areas of responsibility include working with clients to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues through e-mail, telephone, and video-conferencing, in addition to investigating warranty and maintenance program claims.The Product Support Technical Advisor collaborates with all areas of the company and the supply chain.
A Bachelor’s Degree is required (equivalent experience may be considered) and experience related to turbine engine maintenance, aircraft operations, engineering, or other technical fields. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are key to this position.Helpful to be multilingual. Willingness to work independently and in a team environment is favorable.Beneficial to possess A&P Certificates. This role offers unique work schedules (typically rotating 4 days per week, 2nd shift, 10 hour shifts, covering 2:00 PM – 1:00 AM EST 7 days/week). On occasion, this position involves taking calls outside of normal work hours in support of customer inquiries.
